Due to the scale and breadth of the UB 2020 activities we will be undertaking as a campus over the next several years, we determined the need to form groups focused on key issues related to the Realizing UB 2020 initiatives. In the summer of 2013, we established seven task forces. For each task force, we have identified a leader, a membership representing key perspectives from across the university, a charge and specific deliverables.
These task forces will develop recommendations related to priorities, cost, timelines, and implementation strategies for the initiatives outlined in Realizing UB 2020, and present their findings in January 2014. These task forces are critical for ensuring that the specific changes that we make will be deliberate, targeted, and beneficial for the entire campus community.
