Envisioning UB in 2020
1. New Diefendorf Entry Loop
New buildings and an allee of trees could create a formal entry from Bailey Avenue on axis with Abbott Hall.
2. Recreation Quad
The existing playing fields in front of Clark Hall could be framed by new buildings, creating an active landscaped quadrangle.
3. Health Sciences Quad
A new series of Health Sciences buildings could form a quadrangle along the ridge of the campus, continuing the historic campus’ pattern of open space and pedestrian circulation.
