Committee Overview List

  • Executive Committee Overall advisory body to the President and Provost to provide oversight and coordination for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and other efforts and projects designed to advance the goals and objectives of the institution.
  • Academic Planning Committee Oversees the coordination and integration of academic programmatic planning, including the development of the university's core strategic academic strengths.
  • Academic Support Committee Responsible for developing business and operational initiatives, an all-funds campus budget process, and a long-term facility and capital planning process and plan.
  • Bioinformatics Business Planning Taskforce Charged with the creation of a comprehensive plan for the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences at UB.
  • Government, University and Industry Taskforce Responsible for creating a comprehensive, coordinated plan that will allow UB to maximize its relationships with state, federal, and international governments and with private and public industry.
  • Community Engagement Taskforce Charged with the creation of a comprehensive and integrated plan that will allow the university to improve relations with the communities it serves.
