The UB campuses of the future will be bigger, better places and
organize academic programs more strategically than today.
Achieving academic excellence will require that UB’s
campuses grow to accommodate a significantly larger student
population and a larger faculty.
UB’s advance will also require that academic units be
reorganized, led by the relocation of the five health sciences
schools as a consolidated presence on the Buffalo Niagara Medical
Campus as part of our Downtown Campus and the creation of a new
professional education center on our South Campus.
Just as important, meeting our institutional goals will mean a
thorough transformation of UB’s campuses to make them more
sustainable environmentally, to manage our capital resources more
wisely and to integrate our campuses more directly into the
neighborhoods that surround them.
