UB's Green Team provides faculty and staff members opportunities to support UB's sustainability initiatives within their departments. Team members are trained by the Office of Sustainability and provided with the skills and resources necessary for promoting sustainability.

This is a volunteer initiative open only to UB faculty and staff, which requires permission of the employee’s supervisor. 

• Commit 3-5 hours each month to promoting sustainability
• Communicate UB’s sustainability initiatives to colleagues in a straightforward, fun manner
• Utilize Green Team toolkits to implement programs within your department
• Encourage your department to adopt sustainable solutions   
• Provide feedback to the Office of Sustainability
• Identify opportunities to improve sustainability across campus
• Inspire your colleagues to act with sustainability in mind

UB faculty and staff interested in joining the Green Team may submit an application for consideration.
