UB Sustainability has a collection of peer-to-peer workshops and engagements for students on campus that focus on renewable energy. They cover a broad range of topics- from buliding solar powered cars to making your home or apartment more energy efficient for the winter.
Does your club, class or department want to learn more about clean energy or sustainbility here at UB?
As the world seeks to find the solutions that will build resiliency in the face of climate change, universities and colleges have stepped up to the plate. Innovation and creativity are pivotal in driving the technology we need to change the current unsustainable system of energy production.
UB Sustainability invites students from across New York State to present their revolutionary ideas that will create a more sustainable world through clean energy. Students that have completed a project or program, or have an idea for a new policy or invention, can apply to compete for a cash prize at the University at Buffalo’s Transforming our Tomorrow. Participants have five minutes to showcase their work either in teams or individually.
UB Sustainability does work with students on internships involving clean energy. We also host a Change Agents program that fosters the implementation of student ideas on campus to create a more sustainable university.
