Volunteering in the community

Community gardens in Buffalo are just one of many green projects involving UB students, faculty and staff.

Giving back through volunteering is an important tenet of creating a truly sustainable world. Whether time is spent to help improve recycling in the South Campus neighborhood, clean up the shoreline of Lake Erie, or restore the natural ecosystems in the Louisiana Bayou, UB is engaged and committed to creating positive change.
