Student Wellness offers a variety of workshops to help you learn and feel your best at UB and beyond. Available both in facilitated and DIY formats.

Our workshops and programs are being offered both in-person and online. After you submit your workshop request using the form below, we will contact you to determine the safest and most effective means to present your workshop. To best serve you, please provide specific details regarding your workshop request in the Comments section.

Facilitated Workshops Do It Yourself Workshops

Who Are These Programs For?

Our DIY (do-it-yourself) workshops and materials including everything you need for a successful educational program. These kits are perfect for you to use with:

  • Student clubs and organizations
  • Residence halls
  • Classrooms

Available for Free to All Students, Faculty and Staff

Health Promotion DIY Workshops allow any student, faculty or staff to present a variety of wellness topics to groups on their own. Each kit includes most of the resources and materials you will need to facilitate the workshops (typically a workshop outline, supplies and evaluations). Or, you can use our materials to supplement a workshop that you’ve developed.

How to Request a Program

Step 1. Plan Ahead

All programs require at least two weeks advance notice. Please note that you are responsible for providing any required presentation equipment on-site (e.g., a computer, audio/speakers, projector and screen); if you cannot provide the equipment, please let us know.

Step 2. Review the Available Programs

Read the descriptions on this page and decide which program is right for you.

Step 3: Fill Out the Request Form

Make sure you include your contact information.

Step 4. We Will Contact You to Confirm

When your request is received, we will contact you to coordinate details and confirm the date for your program. Your request is not confirmed until you are contacted by one of our staff members.

Step 5. Promote Your Program

Please collaborate with others and advertise your program to attract attendees and ensure participation.

Step 6. Pick Up Your Materials

After you submit this program request, you will be contacted by a staff member to schedule your pick-up date and time. You must pick up your kit and equipment from Health Promotion (114 Student Union) on your confirmed pick-up date.

Step 7. Return Your Materials

You must return your kit and equipment to Health Promotion (114 Student Union) within three business days after your program is completed.

Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Condom Requests

If you would like to distribute condoms at an event, please contact Health Promotion to help you plan the event. We have external and internal condoms, lubricant and dental dams available.
