We're seeking volunteers for a new stress relief program at UB: Stressbusters. Program volunteers provide free five-minute backrubs and wellness information. Volunteer commitment is less than 10 hours a semester and can counts towards many campus service requirements.
The program kicks off at UB in October when Stressbusters volunteers will begin providing free five-minute backrubs and wellness information to students at campus events, residence halls, organization meetings, libraries and other campus locations.
The Stressbusters program is a fun volunteer program for undergrad and grad students that brings stress relief to students where they work and play on campus. Through this opportunity, you can fulfill volunteer hours needed for a class, a student club or other program. Volunteer commitment is less than 10 hours a semester.
The Stressbusters volunteer training will take place in October. If you are interested, please complete a Stressbusters Volunteer Application under the Forms section on the Wellness Education Services organizations page in UBLinked. You will need to sign-in to UBLinked with your UBITname to access the Forms.
Application deadline: September 29
Brief interviews will be conducted at the end of September and beginning of October to insure that you and the Stressbusters program are a good match.
