Don’t Wait – Vaccinate: Student Flu Clinics

UB students, faculty and staff are eligible for upcoming campus flu clinics sponsored by Student Health Services:

  •  Student-only clinic dates begin in September at various campus locations
  •  Faculty-staff dates begin in October in the Student Union, Harriman Hall and C3-Ellicott Complex
  •  Most health insurance plans cover the flu vaccine – review payment information in the description of your preferred date(s)
  • Please remember to bring your health insurance card and UB ID with you
  •  Use new UBEvent calendar “Share It” tools to set a reminder/save your preferred date-location

About the Flu

Flu — also known as influenza — is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death. If you have a fever, cough, fatigue or body aches, you may have the flu.  Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season, according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
