Saturdays of Service

Serve your local community, meet new people and get a better understanding of what it means to be a socially responsible citizen.

Volunteer Throughout The Semester

Saturdays of Service provides three to four opportunities each semester for you to volunteer in Buffalo and Western New York at a variety of locations on campus or throughout the community. You can volunteer for just one Saturday of Service, or for as many as you want. This event is held one Saturday each month; details will be posted on the UB Events Calendar when available.

How to Apply

  1. Go to UBLinked to see exact dates, times and locations for each Saturday of Service.
  2. You must RSVP on UBLinked in advance to attend these events. Registration typically opens a month prior to each Saturday of Service. Space is limited, so register early.
  3. After you register, you will receive an email about a week before the Saturday of Service with your meet-up location (typically the Student Union Lobby), time (typically 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and other important information.
Clubs and Groups

Saturday of Service opportunities are for individual students or very small groups — not for larger student clubs, groups or organizations. To organize a service project for your group, please contact Student Engagement.
