University at Buffalo Distinguished Professor

Stelios Andreadis professor and chair of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering was named SUNY Distinguished Professor in recognition of his academic achievements. Two SEAS faculty members were among the five UB professors to be appointed to the rank of SUNY Distinguished Professor, the highest academic rank in the SUNY system.

GEM Awards 3rd Round of Funding for Microbiome, Genomic Research

Four studies focused on improving our understanding of the human genome and microbiome have been awarded funding through the third round of research pilots supported by the Community of Excellence in Genome, Environment and Microbiome (GEM).

University at Buffalo Distinguished Professor

Jian Feng, PhD, was named UB Distinguished Professor in recognition of notable achievements among 10 other members from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences were honored for notable achievement and service at the 14th annual University at Buffalo Celebration of Faculty and Staff Academic Excellence. This rank honors professors who have achieved national or international recognition in their fields of study.

Natesh Parashurama has received a CSTEP award

Natesh Parashurama, MD, PhD has received the University at Buffalo Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) Distinguished Research Mentor Award.

Stelios Andreadis elected Fellow of the Biomedical Engineering Society
