Dear Colleagues:
I write to update you on the progress being made to identify a new Dean of the School of Public Health and Health Professions.
The search committee has identified several exceptional candidates from among a larger group of excellent applicants who were interviewed at an off-campus location. I am pleased that selected candidates for the position of Dean of the School of Public Health and Health Professions have accepted the committee's invitation to visit campus to meet with faculty, staff, students, members of the university's senior leadership team, and select individuals from among our health care community partners.
The on-campus visits will provide for expanded participation and input in the search process and will allow the candidates to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the exciting opportunity available for the new to help position UB's School of Public Health and Health Professions among the nation's best.
Visits for the candidates are being scheduled for the month of August.
Once confirmed we will provide more information, including the date, time, and place for the open forum. All interested members of the faculty, staff and student body are invited to attend the open forum.
The candidates' CVs will be available for review on the search website www.buffalo.edu/sphhp-dean at least two days prior to their scheduled visits.
