2019 Artworks and Challenge America
Grants for Organizations support exemplary projects in artist communities, arts education, dance, design, folk and traditional arts, literature, local arts agencies, media arts, museums, music, opera, presenting and multidisciplinary works, theater and musical theater, and visual arts. Two categories of Grants for Arts Projects are available:
ART WORKS: The Art Works (see website for full details) program supports the following four outcomes: Creation, Engagement, Learning and Livability. Grants range from $10,000 to $100,000 and require a match of at least one-to-one with nonfederal funds. See topics suitable for the February 2018 and July 2018 deadlines.
CHALLENGE AMERICA FAST-TRACK: The Challenge America (see website for full details) program offers support primarily to small and mid-sized organizations for projects that extend the reach of the arts to underserved populations. This category supports two outcomes: Engagement and Livability. Grants are $10,000 and require a match of at least one-to-one with nonfederal funds.
UB may submit only one application for NEA Art Works OR the Challenge America Fast - Track program during 2018.
The awards amounts will range from $10,000 to $100,000.
Proposed concepts for this program should be sent in one PDF document to the Limited Submissions email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 5:00 p.m. on Jan, 5, 2018.

If you are selected to submit a full proposal for Arts Works, the deadline would be Feb. 15, 2018.
If you are selected to submit a full proposal for Challenge America, the deadline would be July 12, 2018.
