|Title||Effects of Energy Drinks on Running Performance and Thermoregulation.|
|Description||This study will investigate the effects energy drink consumption on running performance and 5k run time during the heat.
Participation involves baseline screening, an exercise test, a baseline 5k treadmill run, and two protocol visits in the heat examining exercise performance and 5k run time after consuming an energy drink or placebo.
Location: Center for Research and Education in Special Environments in Sherman and
Time commitment: Visit 1 lasts 2.5 - 3 hours, visits 2 and 3 last 2.5 hours each. You will be
compensated for your participation.
