Title Effects of Energy Drinks on Running Performance and Thermoregulation.
Description This study will investigate the effects energy drink consumption on running performance and 5k run time during the heat.

Participation involves baseline screening, an exercise test, a baseline 5k treadmill run, and two protocol visits in the heat examining exercise performance and 5k run time after consuming an energy drink or placebo.

Location: Center for Research and Education in Special Environments in Sherman and
Sherman Annex
Time commitment: Visit 1 lasts 2.5 - 3 hours, visits 2 and 3 last 2.5 hours each. You will be
compensated for your participation.

healthy, non smokers, no chewing tobacco
