|Title||Study of Nutrition and Activity in Kids|
|Description||The purpose of this study is to measure the reinforcing value of a preferred health snack food and an unhealthy snack food. The study will also look at the reinforcing value of exercise and how these values may lead to long term weight gain in adolescents.
Participants will be asked to complete 5 visits over a period of 6-8 weeks. There will also be an additional 4 appointments over a 2 year period (one every 9 months).
Study visits will be at the University at Buffalo, South Campus
|Objective||Longitudinal assessment of weight, body fat, impulsive and risk taking -- after determining LED and HED RRV phenotype.
