The Research Foundation for SUNY’s Department of Innovation and Partnerships is hosting SUNY Academic Industry Roundtable (SUNY AIR) to be held in conjunction with SUNY Critical Issues in Higher Education (SUNY CON) on Oct. 29 - 30 in New York City. 30th.The theme is clinical and translational research, including clinical research informatics although additional topics may be considered. SUNY will be inviting representatives from the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

We are seeking SUNY faculty, administrators, and researchers to present (10-15 minutes verbal presentations and posters) on information on assets and project related to:

  • Patient populations that you have access to or have successfully recruited into clinical research studies
  • Success stories and challenges while working with industry and other funders to design, implement, and administer clinical trials
  • Successful industry-facing services that increased the volume of clinical research
  • Clinical research informatics and the status of SUNY’s EHRs and issues related to data sharing and aggregation
  • Other topics that relate to clinical research

How to submit

  • Title, brief summary statement, and 300-word abstract(s) or description(s)
  • CV or resume
  • Target or existing industry contacts (optional)
  • High-resolution photos (optional)

The abstract should describe your proposed presentation, patient population, or project. Please be sure that these summaries are appropriate for public dissemination and free from confidential or proprietary information. They will be shared with potential industry partners and may be listed in RF SUNY’s website and print materials. You may submit multiple abstracts.

Materials must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. May 15, 2015 using the Research Foundation’s online application system. To submit your materials, visit, https://www.grantinterface.com/rfsuny/Common/LogOn.aspx.  If you do not have an account with the system, click “Create New Account.” Once you have logged on, click Apply and then click on the link to the application form for SUNY AIR Abstracts to begin entering information for the submission.
