Bioinformatics

Computation-based research in the life sciences. The University at Buffalo houses the Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences and supports the center's work with one of the most powerful academic supercomputing facilities in the U.S. Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute are affiliated with UB's bioinformatics initiative.
