Theses to be exhibited

Graduate thesis presentations are on view May 1 through May 30 in the James Dyett Gallery, 334 Hayes Hall, South Campus. The exhibit is presented by the School of Architecture and Planning. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Inflatable sculpture in Lightwell

Takashi Murakami's "Mr. Dob" is a 40-foot-high inflatable sculpture commissioned for the Lightwell Gallery and on view there through July 13. The Lightwell Gallery is located within the UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday Noon-5 p.m.Free.

New paintings by Sheldon Berlyn

"Sheldon Berlyn: New Work" continues through June 8 in the UB Art Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. A concurrent show of Berlyn's new work will be on view through June 1 at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University. UB Art Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday Noon-5 p.m. Free.

Center seeks dental implant volunteers

The Periodontal and Implant Research Center is looking for individuals ages of 25-74 to volunteer for studies on dental implants. The center, 120 Foster Hall, South Campus, is part of the School of Dental Medicine's Department of Oral Biology. For information, call 829-2853.
