Mini-Med School: 800 apply for 280 spots

UB's Mini-Med School turns out to be more popular than anyone could have imagined. Reservations were closed April 28 after more than 800 people applied for the 280 available spots.

Director Harry Sultz is taking names for a mailing list that will be used to announce the next Mini-Med School.

The school involves a series of six lectures geared to a general audience on subjects covered in traditional medical school, presented by some of UB's best teachers and researchers.
