On the Cutting Edge of Corporate Success

Are you using the right knife? The right fork? Being comfortable with table settings as well as table conversation could make all the difference at a business luncheon, Consultant Herb Knoll of Rensselaer, N.Y., tells MBA students at a session Jan. 17 in the Buffalo Marriott. Knoll's presentation on business etiquette was part of the School of Management's MBA Advantage component, which provides students with the corporate polish needed for career success. The program offers seminars and group exercises in problem-solving and decision-making, team-building, conflict management, interviewing and realistic job expectations as well as sartorial and etiquette advice to give UB's MBA grads an edge in a competitive job market.
