Exchange exhibit from Ontario
"Area 51: Crossing the Line" continues through Dec. 11 in the Art Department Gallery located in the Center for the Arts. The show is an exchange exhibit from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.

Art celebrating the sesquicentennial
An exhibition of art by faculty and alumni celebrating the sesquicentennial continues through Dec. 15 in the University Art Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. The show includes work by 17 faculty and 23 alumni. Gallery hours are 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Beautiful books
"Treasures from the Lockwood Library-An Exhibit Celebrating UB's Sesquicentennial," is on view in display cases on the second floor of Lockwood Library on the North Campus. The exhibit features books of this century, mostly from the 1920s and 1930s, all taken from the stacks. Timothy Conroy from the Office of Publications curated the exhibit, which continues through Dec. 15.

Farewell, Lightwell wall
We've arrived at the closing days of Leonardo Drew's site-specific installation "No. 45-A." If you've dawdled for the entire year, you're still not too late. The exhibit's up until Dec. 15 in the Center for the Arts' Lightwell Gallery on the North Campus.

Add your voice to the chorus
Community singers are invited to join students in the University Chorus for the spring semester. Works to be rehearsed include Haydn's "Creation" for performance May 2 with the University Symphony, and Rhein-berger's "Stabat Mater" to be presented on a March 13 program with organ. Harriet Simons is director. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:20 p.m. in Baird Recital Hall on the North Campus. The first rehearsal is Jan. 21.
