Architecture exhibit
"Schindler and the Small House" continues through Nov. 29 in the James Dyett Gallery located in 334 Hayes Hall on the South Campus. The show is part of a series of exhibitions presented by the School of Architecture and Planning. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission to the show is free.

Paintings by Robert Culley
An exhibit of paintings by Robert Culley opens Oct. 24 with a reception from 6-8 p.m. in the Art Department Gallery located in the Center for the Arts on the North Campus. The show continues through Nov. 12. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.

Art celebrating the sesquicentennial
An exhibition of art by faculty and alumni celebrating the sesquicentennial continues through Dec. 18 in the University Art Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. The show includes work by 17 faculty and 23 alumni. Gallery hours are 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, and 12-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Beautiful books
"Treasures from the Lockwood Library-An Exhibit Celebrating UB's Sesquicentennial," is on view in display cases on the second floor of Lockwood Library on the North Campus. The exhibit features books of this century, mostly from the 1920s and 1930s, all taken from the stacks. Timothy Conroy from the Office of Publications curated the exhibit, which continues through Dec. 20.

Lightwell wall
Leonardo Drew's site-specific installation "No. 45-A" was designed for the Lightwell Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus, and is there through October.

Health benefits
"Health Insurance Choices" for 1997 for New York State employees will be arriving in mid-November. The publication explains the health insurance option transfer period, the plans you can choose from in 1997, and the pre-tax program. The pre-tax program deadline is Dec. 2.
