Lockwood Library plans book sale Oct. 23, 24

Lockwood Library will have a book sale from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 24 in the Friend's Room of the library. Hard cover and paperbacks as well as periodicals will be sold, with hard covers at $2; paperbacks, $1 and periodicals, 50 cents. Profits will be used to support enhancement of the library's collections, facilities and services. Items to be sold are drawn from gifts not needed in the collections.

Entry to the sale will be through the door facing corridor leading to Clemens.

Want to donate used books to the library? Bring them to Lockwood's circulation desk or to the collection development office, room 321, addressed to Charles D'Aniello, coordinator for collection development. Include your name and address, so gifts can be acknowledged. Gifts are used to replace damaged volumes or to add titles or copies that are lacking; some are sold at a book sale.
