HUBNET user survey will go online Sept. 16

A Hospitals and University at Buffalo Library Resources Network (HUBNET) user survey will be conducted from Sept. 16 through Oct. 10 to obtain critical feedback from HUBNET account holders.

Data being collected from the benchmark survey will influence HUBNET database acquisition and retention decisions as well as the kinds of training, support and technical enhancements needed.

The survey will be available as an option on the networked /Windows version of HUBNET and should take only about 6 to 8 minutes to complete. The survey will not be available from the Telnet or PCAnywhere (dial-in) versions. Those who cannot complete the survey electronically are asked to contact UB-HSL librarian Nancy Stimson at 829-3337 or nstimson@hs5.buffalo.edu to request a paper copy.

Survey responses will be anonymous since the username information and the survey responses will be disassociated and maintained in different databases. The data will only be analyzed in the aggregate. The project study is expected to be completed by late fall.
