By design

"Negotiated Construction," a design exhibit, opens April 22 in the James Dyett Gallery, 335 Hayes Hall, South Campus, and continues there through May 3. The exhibit is described as "a collaborative design project done in conjunction with the Junior Studio curriculum" showing "aspects of the design-build process." Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

CONTINUING EXHIBITS

Art in Poland

"Art in Poland: New Directions" features work by eight artists from the Krak÷w area, through July in the University Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, Noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

Profound Expressions

M.F.A. thesis exhibit "Carol Vacanti: Profound Expressions" will be on display through April 23 in the Art Department Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.

The Senior Show

A collection of works by graduating seniors in the UB Art Department, "The Senior Show" continues through April 25 in the UB Art Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.

Lightwell installation

Leonardo Drew's site-specific installation "No. 45-A" was designed for the Lightwell Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus, and now is lodged there through October.

Photography Exhibit

M.F.A. Thesis Exhibit "Patrick Lord: Photographs" will be on display April 25-May 6 in the University Gallery, Center for the Arts. Opening reception 5-7 p.m. April 25. Gallery hours: 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday; Noon-5 p.m. Sunday.

Prints in Capen

An exhibit of work by print- makers Susan Budash and Ben Dunkle is on view through July 8 in the Capen Hall Gallery located on the fifth floor of Capen on the North Campus.

Sesqui exhibit

"UB Remembers," a university sesquicentennial exhibit organized by University Archives, continues through Sept. 10 in 420 Capen Hall on the North Campus. Groups may arrange a visit by calling 645-2916. Exhibit hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A step up for Print & Mail

University Print & Mail Services will be moving its North Campus copy center April 25 from the basement of Jacobs Center to the Jacobs second-floor atrium-and to celebrate is offering a 20 percent discount off convenience (walk-in) copies with a coupon available in various campus publications and in flyers. Final grand opening sale-days are April 18-19. Print & Mail's main location is 250 Winspear on the South Campus.
