October 27, 1994: Vol26n8: 'Dying in America' topic of Sunrise series Richard T. Hull will focus on "Dying in America" in the third program in the 1994-95 "UB at SUNRISE" series to be held from 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in the Center for Tomorrow on the North Campus. Hull will explore the range of end-of-life issues facing the U.S., including surrogate decision makers, living wills, assisted suicide and physician-induced death. The program is open to the public. An associate professor of philosophy at UB, he is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He also is a member of the Hospital Ethics Committee at The Buffalo General Hospital. "UB at SUNRISE" is a community breakfast series sponsored by UB's Office of Alumni Relations, Office of Conferences and Special Events, News Bureau, Office of Publications and Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Urban Affairs.
