Reporter Volume 26, No.5 October 6, 1994 The following are some of the incidents that were reported to the Department of Public Safety between Sept. 16 and 22: o A man was charged with criminal tampering Sept. 16 for discharging a fire extinguisher in the MFAC Student Club. o Two pair of ice skates, worth a combined value of $400, were reported missing Sept. 16 from Spaulding Quadrangle. o A classical guitar, valued at $700, was reported missing Sept. 19 from Slee Hall. o A man reported Sept. 20 that 3,250 copies of Generation magazine were missing from several locations on the North Campus. o A pair of jeans, a watch and a ring, worth a combined value of $320, were reported missing Sept. 20 from the men's locker room in Alumni Arena. In a separate incident, a wallet containing credit cards and personal papers was reported missing from the same location. o A woman reported Sept. 21 that $21 was taken from her purse while she was in the Health Sciences Library. o A Cooke Hall employee reported Sept. 21 that a man entered her office and asked to use the telephone, and when she acquiesced, he allegedly pulled a 20-inch snake out of his shirt. According to a witness, the man also was seen in Crofts Hall. Officers were unable to locate a suspect.
