Provost's Report 
The university community is invited to attend Provost Aaron N. Bloch's
second annual report to the Faculty Senate on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 2
p.m. in 250 Baird Hall.
   The report will further develop the themes discussed by the
president with the voting faculty on Sept. 13 and by the provost in
the comprehensive academic report he presented last year. The provost
will summarize progress and outline specific directions in areas such
as academic budget and planning, research, undergraduate education,
the graduate school, affirmative action and community building,
outreach and external connections. There will be time for discussion.
