Reporter Volume 26, No.24 April 13, 1995 Business Days, a two-day seminar sponsored by the offices of Accounting and Payroll Services, Budget, Personnel Services and Purchasing, will be held Monday and Tuesday, May 15 and 16. The seminar, which will include a range of sessions and panel presentations, is open to the university community. Two panel presentations are scheduled: Appointment Processing and Purchasing and Accounts Payable Procedures. In addition, an Open Forum Panel Discussion will be held at the end of each day of the seminar to allow participants to ask general questions. The following sessions will be held: o Accounting: BARS/Payroll Distribution Training; Travel Reimbursement Procedures from the Traveler's Perspective. o Budget: BARS Refresher -- Financial; Fiscal Budgeting; Income Fund Reimbursable (IFR). o Payroll: Overview of Regular and TA/GA Payroll; Overview of Hourly, Student Assistant and Work Study Payrolls. o Personnel Services: Position Classification I -- Classified Service Positions; Position Classification II -- Professional and Faculty Positions; Appointment Processing I -- Classified Service Appointments; Appointment Processing II -- Professional, Faculty and Teaching and Graduate Assistant Appointments; Time and Attendance I -- Classified Staff; Time and Attendance II -- Professional Staff, Faculty and Teaching and Graduate Assistants. o Purchasing: Speed Order System.
