Reporter Volume 26, No.1 September 1,1994 President Greiner has announced the restructuring of two university divisions. On the joint recommendation of Robert J. Wagner, senior vice president for University Services and Ronald H. Stein, vice president for University Advancement and Development, WBFO and the Office of Publications have been transferred to University Services, as has the Office of Trademarks and Licensing. According to a memo issued June 22 by UB President William R. Greiner, "Development initiatives continue to be a critical institutional priority, and it is increasingly important that the vice president for University Advancement and Development be able to focus his energies on strengthening this programs. Ron Stein's most significant responsibilities, in this regard, are as the university's leading fund-raiser, friend-raiser and spokesperson." In conjunction with the reorganization, Carole Smith Petro, former associate vice president for University Advancement, has become associate vice president for University Services. Both Publications and WBFO remain under her supervision and she continues as co-chair of the Sesquicentennial Planning Committee. The Office of Trademarks and Licensing is under the supervision of Leonard F. Snyder, university controller.
