Services were held Aug. 17 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church for Jane A.
Schnell, who was secretary to the chaplain of the Newman Center at UB
from 1975-1984. Schnell, 72, died Aug. 14 in Erie County Medical
Center after a brief illness.
	A graduate of D'Youville College, she had served as a
secretary for General Motors Acceptance Corp. and as a substitute
teacher in Buffalo schools.
	Survivors include her husband, Richard; three sons, Richard,
Jr. of Hammond, La., Peter of Kenmore and David; three daughters,
Gretchen Rich of East Aurora, Jane of Bend, Ore., and Karen Hoffman;
and 11 grandchildren.
