September 1,1994: Vol26n1: Eleanor S. Golder, 73, biology labs supervisor

Services were held Aug. 19 in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church,
Amherst, for Eleanor Stanton Golder, 73, former supervisor of the
biology laboratories at UB. Golder died Aug. 16 in Millard Fillmore
Hospital after a brief illness.
	A graduate of the former Buffalo State Teachers College, she
worked at American Optical from 1947-1960 and then became a claims
examiner for the state Division of Employment. In 1970, she earned a
master's degree and took a position at UB overseeing the biology labs,
where she served until her retirement in 1988.
	She is survived by her husband, Bruno; three sons, Dr. Bruce
of Aiea, Hawaii, Patrick of Rochester and Dr. Daniel of Snyder; and a
grandson.
