Reporter Volume 25, No.29 June 13, 1994 Charles T. "Corky" Brunskill, a member of the UB professional staff, has received the UB Professional Staff Senate's Outstanding Service Award for 1994. Brunskill, director of engineering computing services in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, was honored at a May 25 luncheon for outstanding service to both the university and the community. He received a certificate of recognition and a $1,000 cash award. Brunskill has held his current position since 1984. He previously had worked for UB from 1973-82 as a technical specialist for security systems in the Department of Public Safety. He has served as principal and co-principal investigator on numerous research grants, and has been a consultant to schools, universities and companies throughout New York State in the areas of electronic and physical security-system design, development of bid documents, and the installation of supervision and all relevant operating procedures. Brunskill co-founded the UB Graduate Group for Applied Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and founded the BSG International Internship Program. He received bachelor's and master's degrees from UB. In addition to his professional duties, Brunskill serves as a director, vice president and coach in the Mathewson McCarthy Babe Ruth Little League.
