Scholar-athletes: 100 members of 17 Division I athletic programs were
named Scholar Athletes for the 1993 fall semester, earning a grade
point average of at least 3.0 (out of a possible 4.). Twelve
student/athletes earned the minimum GAP requirement of a 3.6 GPA and
were placed on the Dean's List.
