Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. A vast system of parks
offers many opportunities, including Sprague
Brook Country Park, with miles of woods and set trails.
Tubing. Experience fast-paced fun at several dedicated tubing
Sledding and tobogganing. Great sledding is everywhere,
including Chestnut Ridge, one of the only U.S. parks with
Snowmobiling. You'll find a number of well-maintained trails
around the region.
UB's Three Campuses
UB’s South Campus on Main Street is a Western New York
landmark that dates back to the 1920s. Located in a residential
neighborhood in North Buffalo, it is home to classic ivy-covered
buildings, dormitories, and cutting-edge research and teaching
UB is creating a state-of-the-art center for teaching,
research and clinical care in downtown Buffalo, sparking a
revitalization of New York State’s second-largest city. Most
Downtown Campus buildings are located on or near the Buffalo
Niagara Medical Campus.
UB’s North Campus, where most of the university’s
core undergraduate academic programs are offered, is located in
suburban Amherst. Opened in the early 1970s, it is the largest of
our three campuses.
