UB Recreation Services is now offering free virtual fitness classes for all UB students. These at-home classes will include:
During the academic semester, we tend of offer between 20-30 different in-person group fitness classes for students. In order to make these classes available during COVID-19, we have adapted REC Group Fitness. We know it is important for our UB students to have exercise options so they can stay physically fit but also mentally strong during the semester.
With the regulations set forth by UB and the state of New York, now is the perfect time to take advantage of virtual classes. Physical activity and exercise has been shown to reduce stress, enhance immunity; we can all benefit from the benefits of movement during time and changes brought by COVID-19.
