Committee Charge

Under the primary guidance of the Marketing and Communications Committee, the Website Subcommittee is dedicated to maintaining and improving the Professional Staff Senate's web presence. We try to post updates quickly and make sure the information on the site is of use to all members of UB's professional staff. You can help by contacting us with any concerns about site content or possible omissions.

If you have an interest in web design or learning the UB Content Management System be sure to contact us. We are always looking for new members.

Responsible for the implementation, organization, and timeliness of the PSS website:

  • Publishing and maintaining up-to-date website content that is of benefit to the professional staff and the mission of the Professional Staff Senate
  • Facilitating access to that content through a user-friendly website
  • Serving as a public record of Professional Staff Senate business and activities

Previous Committee Charge (Changed February 2018)

Responsible for the design, content and currency of the PSS website in order to:

  • provide content regarding current, relevant information to professional staff, i.e. career goals, policies and procedures, training, events, announcements, etc., and to facilitate access to that content via a simple, attractive, and easy-to-use design;
  • promote communication among professional staff with instruments such as PSSCONNECT-LIST;
  • serve as a repository for historical Professional Staff Senate records.
