Continuous Improvement Committee

Our Mission

The Continuous Improvement Committee was formed in response to an expressed interest in Continuous Improvement among members of the PSS.  Since its formation the committee has communicated training opportunities regarding continuous improvement that are offered in the community as well as through UB-affiliated programs.  The committee has presented on continuous improvement initiatives that various unit teams have implemented as well as the savings attributed to such efforts.  The committee has offered training as part of the Supervisors Learning Forum sponsored by Organizational  Development and Training.  The vision for the committee is to develop and offer an in-house training program for interested staff at UB to be trained in the methods and processes associated with continuous improvement and to offer coaching and support to units on campus that may be implementing such practices.

  • Create awareness and interest regarding CI among the PSS membership.
