The proposal submission process will involve two stages
A one-page abstract, which includes an estimated budget, to
assess fundability and for purposes of seeking advice in developing
an effective case should be submitted to the cognizant Dean(s).
Deans may provide additional guidelines/ in a timely manner .
Deans will determine which proposals best represent their
unit’s strategic goals and decide which proposals should be
submitted (single-unit OR as part of multi-unit proposals within
the limits for each delineated above) to the Office of the Provost
for E Funding. This is the stage at which further
consultation, iteration and revision should take place.
Full proposals that address all the principles/criteria outlined above should be submitted by the cognizant Deans to the Provost’s office for review. The number of proposals funded will be dependent on the availability of funds.
