This proposal describes a new center focusing on key current and
emerging issues in the research and practice of organizational
leadership and innovation with the dual objectives of research
excellence and high research impact.
The core of this proposal is the development of a new
“Masters + Ph.D.” program and supporting research
center in computational and data-enabled sciences and engineering
(CDSE), which will be substantially supported by several research
and educational grants.
The Economic Justice Studies project would provide
administrative staffing, faculty time, and expenses to allow SUNY
Buffalo Law School to be identified as a leading resource base for
scholars around the world interested in foregrounding inequality
and critical theory in law and economics.
The Institute of Bridge Engineering (IBE) will establish the
Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering
(CSEE) and MCEER as the leader in bridge engineering research and
education in the United States.
