The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) collects information at hundreds of four-year colleges and universities about undergraduate participation in the programs and activities that foster academic success. UB currently participates on a 3-year cycle. The survey results indicate which academic and extracurricular activities strongly shape the UB experience for undergraduates and show how these students spend their time on and off campus. In addition, NSSE provides a look at students' perceptions of institutional priorities and their academic and personal development while at UB.
The results of the most recent NSSE, administered in Spring 2014, are shown below. Questions are grouped according to topical areas. You can select the topic of interest by selecting the appropriate tab or by clicking on the drop down arrow in the top left corner of the dashboard. The next administration of the NSSE is planned for Spring 2017.
