State Budget Update
A 13-member University-Wide Strategic Financial Management Advisory Group representing faculty, staff and students has been formed to advise the president, provost and senior leadership on where belt-tightening might take place in light of the additional 7 percent cut in state funding confronting UB. That cut, affecting SUNY and CUNY, comes on top of a 3 percent cut absorbed by UB earlier this year. The group was formed by Provost Satish K. Tripathi and President John B. Simpson. More
