UB Council Chair Jeremy Jacobs, his wife, Margaret, and their family recently gave a record-setting $10 million gift to establish the Jacobs Institute. The institute will support research and clinical collaboration on the causes, treatment and prevention of heart and vascular diseases. The Jacobses' gift is the largest single gift in the university’s history, and paves the way for recruiting and retaining world-class researchers, educators and clinicians to the University at Buffalo and to the Western New York health care community.
