UB Business Partners Day in June celebrated successful and productive relationships between industry, government and UB. In addition, Edmund Egan, pediatrics professor and president and chief executive officer of ONY Inc., and Bruce Holm, senior vice provost and executive director of UB’s New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, received the first University at Buffalo Faculty Entrepreneur Award for their work to develop and commercialize InfaSurf, a lung surfactant that prevents respiratory distress in premature babies.
