Program Assessment

Program assessment is very important for ensuring that UB students are achieving important learning outcomes for the degree program and is also key for demonstrating to our external stakeholders that we take our educational mission seriously and are committed to continuous improvement.

Annual Program Assessment

OEE provides oversight of annual student learning assessment and reporting activities in compliance with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).

Program assessment plans should be designed to allow for the assessment of at least one learning outcome per academic year, with all learning outcomes being assessed within a 3- to 5-year cycle.

In addition to the annual submission of assessment reports, a summary report for all of the learning outcomes will be submitted with the Comprehensive Program Review.
