Based on feedback collected through these spring 2020 surveys, along with input from offices dealing directly with instructors and students during the COVID-19 emergency transition to remote instruction, we have populated tip sheets as a window into the concerns that students and faculty have with regard to remote learning and instruction.
During the 2020 spring semester, data collected on active hours in UB Learns courses, during and after the transition to remote instruction, demonstrated a clear correlation between instructor engagement and student involvement. This tip sheet provides some strategies and resources to help promote student engagement.
