Remote Instruction—Assessment Results and Impact Report

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University at Buffalo transitioned to remote instruction for weeks 9 through 16 of the spring 2020 semester.  OEE created a task force and partnered with offices across campus to develop formative assessments to identify areas of need for students and instructors.  Through these efforts, instructors and learners are being connected with resources and supports to enhance the educational experience and maintain the academic quality charateristic of the university.

Based on feedback collected through these surveys, along with input from offices dealing directly with instructors and students during the COVID-19 emergency transition to remote instruction, we have populated tip sheets as a window into the concerns that students and faculty have with regard to remote learning and instruction.
