Testing On UBlearns

Create online tests with sets of questions that are auto-graded to measure student performance. Once a test is created, it must be deployed within a content folder before students can take the test. Some question types are not automatically graded.

Respondus On UBlearns

Respondus is a software tool enabling easy creation and management of quizzes and surveys that can be created offline and published to Blackboard on UBlearns. Respondus can save hours by providing the ability to import existing exams from word processor files or publisher test banks.

NEW! Instructor Training: LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor

Daily trainings during the month of March on LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor systems. LockDown Browser is a custom browser that prevents digital cheating during a remote exam. Respondus Monitor is a companion application for LockDown Browser that deters cheating when students take remote exams in non-proctored environments. The training will cover the student perspective using each application as well as the instructor perspective, including the proctoring data collected, the Review Priority system, timeline, milestone features, and best practices for using each.

Top Hat Test

Securely administer tests and quizzes in a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environment, using Top Hat’s proprietary lock-out capabilities. Additional license fee required for student use.

NEW! Free Remote Proctoring with Top Hat

To help our address the challenge of administering tests and final exams remotely, Top Hat has enhanced testing to include new remote proctoring functionality, so that faculty can continue to run secure, synchronous tests and exams. This remote proctoring solution is available at no additional cost and will:

  • Verify students’ identities to ensure that the right students are taking the test.

  • Monitor student activity live and flag irregular student behaviors using sophisticated artificial intelligence.

  • Generate an easy-to-understand proctor report for faculty to review.
