A new form of outdoor advertising is slowly taking hold

The Washington Post quoted Arun Lakshmana in a story on the increasing use of 3D billboard images. While 3-D imagery is fun and innovative, it could also turn public spaces into obtrusive advertisements. “This is exciting and it’s attention-getting,” said Lakshmanan. “It also could really start getting intrusive.”
