Pfizer and Moderna seek emergency use authorization for COVID-19 vaccines

Health.com interviewed Timothy Murphy in an article on Pfizer and Moderna seeking an emergency use authorization (EUA) for its COVID-19 vaccines. “Therefore, in order for the FDA to issue an EUA for a COVID vaccine, the product must withstand multiple levels of rigorous review by independent scientists, healthcare professionals, biostatisticians, and ethicists,” said Murphy.
